PEP is AudioLink's assistant for live sound. You ask for changes in plain language or by voice, and it adjusts the mixer — the house mix (PEP FOH) and performers' in-ear monitor mixes (PEP IEM). What you can use depends on your license.
About 10 minutes, most of it one-time.
An iPhone (iOS 17 or newer).
Your PEP license from AudioLink — it looks like one of:
PEP1F.… ← Full (PEP FOH + PEP IEM)PEP1I.… ← IEM-only
The same license works on as many phones as you like. Don't have one? Ask AudioLink.
PEP is delivered through Apple's TestFlight app during the beta. Install TestFlight from the App Store.
Open the invite link AudioLink emailed you → tap Install on Pep.
Turn Automatic Updates ON in TestFlight so you always have the latest version.
Open Pep → tap PEP FOH or PEP IEM.
Paste your license, enter your name (so the team knows who made each change), tap Activate.
One activation covers everything your license includes. With a Full license both products open; with an IEM-only license, PEP IEM works and PEP FOH shows "Full license required."
The first time you use voice, iPhone asks for microphone and speech permission — tap Allow.
PEP FOH (house mix) — ask in plain language:
"What's channel 1 at right now?" · "Bring the vocals up a touch." · "Mute channel 5."
PEP IEM (your monitors) — first pick the mix sent to your ears (the list loads from the board — give it a few seconds), then ask:
"More kick in my ears." · "Give me more of myself." · "Less guitar."
Voice mode — tap the round button (bottom-right) for hands-free. PEP listens, makes the change, and talks back.
What to expect: the first message after a pause can take a few seconds while it wakes up — it's quicker after. PEP applies changes immediately; made a mistake? Just say "undo" or "put it back."
PEP is connected to a real mixer — changes happen in the room right away. Use it deliberately during a service or show, and lean on "undo" / "put it back." As a safety net, in voice mode PEP asks you to say "confirm" before silencing the main PA.
